2Cents Theatre Group's popular 3-day festival of female playwrights is back for year four! We are once again gathering around 100 artists for this exciting event, from playwrights to directors to actors and street artists, to celebrate the FEMALE PLAYWRIGHT and ART! The Fest will take place March 17-19 at the Hudson Theatres in Hollywood, right in the heart of Theatre Row and the Los Angeles 99-seat community.

Returning again after a successful premiere, THE FIVE MINUTE MILE is a unique night of theatre where any given night you can see plays about meeting the parents, superhero problems, the Friend Zone, the realities of being a refugee, salesmens schtick, accepting yourself, fictional relationships, and the crazies that come out of the woodworks everywhere. Comedies and dramas, plays and monologues - you will get to see slices of all kinds of lives - five minutes at a time.

For the second year, Rover Dramawerks is pleased to partner with the playwrights' group 365 Women a Year to present a festival of plays by women, about women, for everyone. This international playwriting coalition, founded by Jesslynn Eisenberg Chamblee, involves playwrights across the world who have signed on to write one or more plays about extraordinary women in both past and present history. The project's ambitious yet focused goal is to write women back into the social consciousness, as well as empower and promote female playwrights, and plant seeds of herstory around the country.

GLO (Green Light One-Acts) was created by Green Light Productions to showcase the best short plays written by women. Submissions for this year's GLO were open to Los Angeles-area women only because of our commitment to promoting local artists. Out of over a hundred submissions, these five plays represent some of the most talented writers in our area who are creating dynamic characters and engaging stories.  Powerfully funny and intensely moving, the 2015 GLO plays are an incredible look at love, loss and surviving them both.

For Green Light's first west coast production -- GLO (Green Light One-Acts), the company accepted submissions from only Los Angeles-based women playwrights. The response was overwhelming and after a careful selection process, Green Light selected four plays that are not only incredibly well-written but also funny, powerful, sharp and entertaining. Green Light is thrilled to be in Los Angeles, supporting women in theatre and producing high-quality productions for our audience.
