The Peace Center announces Peace Voices Songwriters, a new extension of the Peace Voices program. Spearheaded by Greenville's Edwin McCain and songwriter Maia Sharp, the program features a concert series with guest singer-songwriters. It also offers a workshop series for aspiring songwriters, which will culminate in a recorded song.

Dolly Parton took to Twitter to share the first single from the 'Dumplin' soundtrack, a collaboration with Sia.  "Here I Am" performed by Dolly Parton & Sia is the first release from the forthcoming Dumplin' Original Motion Picture Soundtrack. Available for download and streaming today, this self-penned song was originally recorded by Parton and included on her Coat of Many Colors album (October 1971). This brand-new recording of "Here I Am" captures Dolly Parton and Sia's striking vocal re-imagination of this classic album track.

Following a sold-out engagement in 2015, Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, and actress Melissa Manchester returns to Feinstein's at the Nikko with her new show, The Fellas, on Friday, October 5 (8 p.m.) and Saturday, October 6 (8 p.m.). More than 25 years after Melissa Manchester released "Tribute," her 1989 album that honored the great female singers who influenced her, she turns the tables with "The Fellas," a radiant new encomium to the men, including Frank Sinatra, Mel Torme, Tony Bennett, and Dean Martin, and the iconic songs they made famous. In this intimate evening, Manchester will salute the men (and ladies) of song, as well as perform several of her own classic hits.

As Lyle Lovett takes the stage for his 21st show at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, the venue has announced Lovett's induction into the Red Rocks Hall of Fame. The venue occasionally inducts performers who have particular longevity or importance in the venue's history and Lovett is the sole honoree this year.

Shawn Colvin won her first Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Folk Album with her debut album, Steady On (1989). She has been a mainstay of the contemporary folk music scene ever since, releasing 12 superlative albums and establishing herself as one of America's greatest live performers. She triumphed at the 1998 Grammy Awards, winning both Record and Song of the Year for "Sunny Came Home."

Legendary country duo the LOUVIN BROTHERS (1956-1963) were arguably one of the biggest country duos of their time, and unreleased demo recordings from their early years will be heard for the first time September 28 when Modern Harmonic releases Love And Wealth: The Lost Recordings. The 29 songs (and one warm, spoken audio letter) have never been released before, although a few of these cuts have been covered by other artists. Bluegrass-country singer Alison Krauss, winner of 27 Grammy Awards, will perform Saturday, October 6, 2018; comedian Ron White will return to LBC on Friday, October 26, 2018; after their first successful year of touring, comedy duo #IMOMSOHARD will return to LBC on Wednesday, November 14; Bill Medley of the Righteous Brothers is joined by Bucky Heard to perform the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame duo's most famous songs on Sunday, November 18, 2018; Big Bad Voodoo Daddy bring their holiday show to LBC on Monday, December 3, 2018; Dustbowl Revival and Hot Club of Cowtown will make their way to Santa Rosa as part of Across the Great Divide: A Celebration of the 50th Anniversary of The Band on Wednesday, March 27, 2019; and international best-selling author Neil Gaiman will come to LBC with his show An Evening with Neil Gaiman on Sunday, May 12, 2019.

In addition to CSC's professional theatrical productions, the 2018 - 19 season will see the return of the January Thaw Music Festival alongside a plethora of new concerts and dance performances.

Lincoln Theater is delighted to partner with the Napa Valley Museum to present the Americana Series, a selection of concerts and other activities celebrating America's finest in music and cultural offerings. 'Americana' refers to the history, folklore and cultural heritage of the United States, honoring national pride, patriotism and diversity. This series will feature a variety of live performances and other events, most of which will be free for children and veterans.
