Carnegie Hall today announced the names of the 109 outstanding young musicians selected from across the country for the ninth annual National Youth Orchestra of the United States of America (NYO-USA). The members of the 2022 orchestra—ages 16–19, hailing from 34 US states—have been recognized by Carnegie Hall as being among the finest players in the country following a comprehensive and highly selective audition process.
National Symphony Orchestra to Present Three Classical Programs

The National Symphony Orchestra (NSO) continues its Classical series with three subscription concert programs this April and May, including the D.C. premieres of NSO co-commissioned works by Mason Bates and Joan Tower, and a return to The Anthem venue in the Southwest Waterfront. California Symphony Presents World Premiere in FRENCH IMPRESSIONS at the Lesher Center

The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra has announced several updates to the 2021/22 schedule. Newly added artists include conductor David Danzmayr, cellist Alban Gerhardt, Ensemble Intercontemporain, and Cincinnati Youth Symphony Orchestra concerto competition winners Maxwell Fairman and Ari Webb. Additionally, Daniil Trifonov's solo piano recital has been rescheduled for March 1, 2022.
