Voting is fully underway for BroadwayWorld's 2010 Theatre Fans' Choice Awards, with thousands of votes already in and early leads established for some surprising and not so suprising early choices. Voting will continue through June 4, 2010 and anything can happen between now and then. In the meantime early leaders range from those overlooked by the TONY nominations to fan favorites. TIME STANDS STILL Headed Back to Broadway This Fall

TIME STANDS STILL, which yesterday received a Tony nomination for Best Play, will transfer this fall to Broadway to a Shubert theatre to be announced. The play, by Pulitzer Prize Winner Donald Margulies, directed by Tony Award winner Daniel Sullivan, will star acclaimed original cast members: Laura Linney, Brian d'Arcy James, and Eric Bogosian.

Outer Critics Circle, the organization of writers covering New York theatre for out-of-town newspapers, national publications and other media beyond Broadway publicly announced the nominees for the 2009-10 season on Monday, April 26th at the historic Algonquin Hotel. Outer Critics Circle posted award nominations in 23 categories and are the first major Broadway/Off-Broadway award nominees of the New York theater season. Jackman & Silverstone Join Garner For New Film BUTTER

Broadway veteren Hugh Jackman is set to appear alongside Alicia Silverstone and Jennifer Garner in new film 'Butter.' Mike DeLuca and Garner will produce the film. The Weinstein Company comedy features a screenplay by Jason Micallef and will be directed by Jim Field Smith.

A world premiere adaptation of Jane Austen's romantic comedy Emma by Artistic Director Michael Bloom will end its run at the Cleveland Play House on March 21st.

Signature Theatre Company (James Houghton, Founding Artistic Director; Erika Mallin, Executive Director) celebrated the construction of the theatre's future home, The Signature Center, at its 2010 annual gala on Monday, March 1 at Espace (635 West 42nd Street). Guest of honor was Frank Gehry, architect of the Signature Center. The evening alsod include the presentation of Signature's Playwrights' Award to actress Hallie Foote, daughter of the late playwright Horton Foote, who is currently starring at Signature in her father's critically acclaimed world premiere trilogy, The Orphans' Home Cycle.
