Wheelhouse Theater Company today announced that it will present a staged reading of ORACLES: MURDER AT THE CROSSROADS AND OEDIPUSGATE a?" A DOUBLE BILL, written by Jonathan Lynn and directed by Wheelhouse's Artistic Director, Jeff Wise. The reading will be held at Manhattan Theatre Club Studios, 311 West 43rd St., on Thursday, 10/31 at 1:30 pm and Friday 11/01 at 11am. Featured in the cast will be Alfred Molina, Austin Pendleton, Nadia Bowers, Lori Tan Chinn, Janet Dacal, Christopher Hanke, and Magaret Odette. Disney Channel to Premiere Season Two of BIG CITY GREENS on November 16

Season two of the hit animated comedy-adventure series 'Big City Greens' premieres SATURDAY, NOV. 16 (9:30 a.m. EST/PST), on Disney Channel and in DisneyNOW. Created and executive produced by brothers Chris and Shane Houghton ('Harvey Beaks'), the series follows mischievous and optimistic 10-year-old Cricket Green who moves from the country to the big city with his wildly out of place family—older sister Tilly, father Bill and Gramma Alice. 'Big City Greens' ranks among the top five animated series across all Cable with Kids and Girls 6-11.

One of the most influential artists of the 20th century, Mark Rothko's signature style helped define Abstract Expressionism, the movement that shifted the center of the art world from Paris to New York. American Masters — Rothko: Pictures Must Be Miraculous, premiering nationwide Friday, October 25 at 9 p.m. on PBS (check local listings), pbs.org/americanmasters and the PBS Video app, is an intimate portrait of the celebrated painter whose luminous canvasses now set records at international auctions. Interviews with Rothko's children, Kate and Christopher, as well as leading curators, art historians and conservators present a comprehensive look at the artist's life and career, complemented by original scenes with Alfred Molina in the role of Rothko. Molina performs segments from Rothko's diaries, and the documentary features clips from the six-time Tony-winning play Red. Great Performances will premiere Red nationwide on Friday, November 15 at 9 p.m. on PBS (check local listings), pbs.org/gperf and the PBS Video app as part of the series' third annual “Broadway's Best” lineup of acclaimed theatrical productions.

'The sudden, shocking death of John Singleton at the age of just 51 in April 2019 robbed the world of a trailblazing, influential and, arguably, somewhat underrated chronicler of Black life on film,' says series programmer Ashley Clark. 'This is both a full retrospective of the late director's characteristically muscular, thought-provoking cinematic output, and a chance to pay tribute to a singular talent.'

In the episode, he sings a song titled 'Center Stage' about how he doesn't mean to haunt the theater, but he just can't help but perform, even if humans are around.
