Rough House Theatre Announces Cast of THE SILENCE IN HARROW HOUSE

Rough House Theater Co. is proud to announce its return this Halloween season with an updated production of the sold out 2018 horror phenomena. This year, Rough House Theatre presents The Silence in Harrow House , conceived and directed by Mike Oleon, written by Mark Maxwell and Claire Saxe, September 26 a?" November 10 at the Chopin Theatre, 1543 W Division St. Audiences once again descend into Rough House's gorgeous, dark and surreal world for a new story of silence, sacrifice and transformation. Previews are Thursday, Sept. 26 and Friday, Sept. 27 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 28 at 7 and 8:45 p.m. Opening night is Thursday, Oct. 3 at 7 p.m. Performance times are Thursdays and Fridays at 7 and 8:45 p.m., Saturdays at 6, 7:45 and 9:30 p.m., and Sundays at 6 and 7:45 p.m. Recommended for audiences aged 14 and over. Tickets are $15 - $32 and may be purchased at RoughHouseTheater.com.

Once in every decade or so, a musical is created that redefines the genre. Lin-Manuel Miranda's HAMILTON joins that elite Parthenon of THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, LES MISERABLE and RENT. The two-act musical rolled into the Ohio Theatre (39 East State Street in downtown Columbus) on Jan. 29 pulling a 400-boxcar train of hype it couldn't possibly live up to.

It's not often that a Broadway musical creates so much press and hype that almost every US citizen has heard of the phenomenon that is HAMILTON. The show that got it's start off Broadway at NY's Public Theatre has taken the country by storm. Still the hottest ticket on Broadway 3 years after it has opened, the touring production has been anticipated in almost every US National tour market for a full two years prior to it actually surfacing. This has created record breaking subscription ticket sales just so everyone could be guaranteed a seat for HAMILTON.

Academia Nuts has book and lyrics by Becca Anderson & Dan Marshall, and music by Julian Blackmore, with direction by Thomas Caruso, musical direction by Martyn Axe, and choreography by Ryan Kasprzak.
