On September 15, the Tony Award-winning production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time will welcome Tyler Lea in his Broadway debut as Christopher, Rosie Benton (Stick Fly) as Siobhan, Andrew Long (The Iceman Cometh at BAM) as Ed, and Nancy Robinette('Louie') as Mrs. Alexander, BroadwayWorld has just confirmed. Benjamin Wheelwright will also make his Broadway debut as Christopher at certain performances.

Dear readers, it had been about a year since my previous trip back to the Mothership (a.k.a. New York) and I felt it was time for a recharge of my Broadway batteries, even if it could only be a quickie. Well let me tell you there is plenty of awesome happening out there to catch. Now I only caught five of them but they were all amazing. Granted, I did pick from the cream of the crop of recent award winners and high profile shows but that only means that I can give a collective WOW to them all with my three letter rating system. Petty kicked off his day at the Whitney Museum, followed by a trip to the top of the Rockefeller Center, seeing 'CURIOUS INCIDENT' on Broadway and attending a taping of THE TONIGHT SHOW STARRING JIMMY FALLON. The National Theatre's production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time was one of the big winners at last night's prestigious Tony Awards held at the Radio City Music Hall in New York (7 June 2015), winning 5 awards: Best New Play - Simon Stephens, Best Direction of a Play -  Marianne Elliott, Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Play - Alex Sharp as Christopher Boone, Best Lighting Design of a Play  - Paule Constable and Best Scenic Design of a Play  - Bunny Christie and Finn Ross.
