The 33rd Annual MAC Awards were handed out last night (Tuesday, March 26, 2019) during a glitzy evening at New York City's SONY Hall.

Multi-lingual crossover artist, Anna Bergman, sings audience favorites from her cabaret, concert, symphony and stage performances in a new show, with music director and pianist Alex Rybeck, at the Beach Cafe, Saturday, March 30th at 9:30 pm. Songwriters include Sondheim, Rodgers, Hart & Hammerstein, Porter, Coward, Bock & Harnick, Guettel, Lerner & Loewe, Legrand, Lehar, Poulenc and Puccini with songs from Bergman's favorite stage roles in such shows as The Light in the Piazza, Kiss Me Kate, My Fair Lady and The Merry Widow.

The Manhattan Association of Cabarets (MAC) has announced the 2019 MAC Award nominees. The nominees, in a majority of the categories, were determined by votes cast by the active MAC membership. Special committees selected the nominees in the Ensemble Instrumentalist, Piano Bar Instrumentalist, Piano Bar Singing Entertainer (Female; Male), Recording (LaMott Friedman), Major Recording, Song and Comedy/Novelty Song categories.

The final evening of performances for the Mabel Mercer Foundation's 29th New York Cabaret Convention, held at Jazz at Lincoln Center's Rose Theater, was a showcase for many cabaret legends, bringing back glamour, sparkle, and class to the proceedings.

The New York Pops just hosted its annual cabaret fundraiser at Feinstein's/54 Below starring Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Award winner Faith Prince. The event was hosted by New York Pops Music Director Steven Reineke.

FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents a cumulative performance from the "Bridging the Gap" master class.
