The Annoyance Theater, home of the longest running musical, offers its latest creation, the parody The Bargain Bin Sale of a Lifetime, a bizarre take on the QVC and Home Shopping Network (HSN). What at first appears to be a play about a home shopping-style tv show soon spirals into musical numbers, 80s montages, post-apocalyptic scenarios, a homicide mystery and (of course) a scene in a shoe store. Oh, and a dictator known as The Overlord. In a world where every product can be described as "amazing" and "life-changing," four salesmen learn about what truly makes their lives worth living: the bargains.

This weekend, September 29, was THE FUN HOUSE event to benefit Stage 773 and celebrate Chicago's local vibrant arts and cultural community. The evening's events will be emceed by John Gerbin who portrayed Buck on NBC's popular sci-fi drama Heroes. The Live Auctioneer is prominent Chicago comedian Tim Soszko. DLC Summer Stage's production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's hit musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat opened last week to rave reviews! In a statement from Andrew L. Baughman of Maryland Theatre Guide, accolades are given to the show: 'Thank goodness that Director Jason Kimmell and The Drama Learning Center of Columbia have finally given Joseph the type of production it deserves.'

Opening Thursday, August 4, DLC Summer Stage is pleased to announce their production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's hit musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Performances will be held at the Drama Learning Center from August 4-13 (complete schedule is below).
