Gun violence is the focus in the wildly experimental digital puppetry show, Fear in the Western World.  A couple and their daughter are looking for a new home.  They find one in Nesthaven, a gated community.  There are lots of problems outside.  A community website posts about the dangers.  At one point, we hear they've 'got to build taller fences around Nesthaven.'

I first read Kill Climate Deniers in April last year. I'd heard about the play - the Griffin in Sydney was my local theatre in my university days - and I'd heard about the controversy briefly and intermittently over the years. But this was the first time I'd actually read this supposedly sacrilegious play that had inspired Breitbart, Alex Jones's Infowars and every major right-wing Australian press outlet to froth at the mouth with rage.

RSC Will Tour AS YOU LIKE IT, THE TAMING OF THE SHREW and MEASURE FOR MEASURE

For the first time the Royal Shakespeare Company will tour three productions in repertoire to six regional theatres, playing for two weeks in each venue. As You Like It, The Taming of the Shrew and Measure for Measure will visit Salford in September 2019, and then Canterbury, Plymouth, Nottingham, Newcastle upon Tyne and Blackpool in early 2020. Performance dates at the end of the release.

The starry lineup is set for the sixth monthly concert in the year-long Broadway Sings spinoff series, Broadway Sings: Unplugged. On March 25 at 7pm and 9:30pm, The Green Room 42 will present Beyonce: Unplugged, featuring original "unplugged" arrangements of the pop star's hits, orchestrated for an acoustic band.

The collaborative, cross-cast company is announced for the Royal Shakespeare Company's (RSC) productions of As You Like It, The Taming of the Shrew and Measure for Measure, playing in a newly reconfigured Royal Shakespeare Theatre next summer. All three productions will then tour in repertoire for the first time to six regional theatres in 2019 and 2020. The actors will each appear in two of the three plays performed as part of the Summer 2019 repertoire. Design for all three productions is by Stephen Brimson Lewis, Director of Design for the Royal Shakespeare Company.

Award-winning theatre company Cardboard Citizens has announced that it will revive its critically acclaimed production of Cathy at Soho Theatre for three weeks from 27 March 14 April, alongside other UK dates this spring. The tour will culminate in a one week run at London's Albany Theatre from 1 5 May. The Soho Theatre run will give audiences the first chance to see the play as a stand-alone piece with the remaining dates offering an interactive forum.
