Drury Lane Theatre has announced the complete lineup of its 2018/2019 season, opening with Tony Award-winning South Pacific.

I recall with reverence the illustrated cover of the original cast album of MY FAIR LADY by the acclaimed caricaturist, the late Al Hirschfeld (who has a Broadway theater named in his honor). It featured the author of 'Pygmalion' which MY FAIR LADY is based on, George Bernard Shaw, overlooking a cloud in heaven with puppet strings holding up the two lead characters in the show, Henry Higgins and Eliza Doolittle, It's a true classic. So was the original cast which opened on Broadway in 1956 and starred Julie Andrews and Rex Harrison and later became a smash movie with Harrison and Audrey Hepburn in 1964. I recall having a reserved seat ticket for the film.

Broadway Dreams kicked off their #ComeTogether Summer Intensive Tour yesterday at RWS Studios in Long Island City. For one week, 100 students worked with top Broadway professionals, including Jenn Colella, Christopher J. See 'Multiple Family Dwelling' while it is being performed at New Jersey Repertory Company. Written by James Hindman, directed by Alan Souza, and featuring a stellar cast, this is an intriguing play about two couples and the twists and turns of their relationships.

Lifewise Productions has announced that it will stage Mickele Hogan's MOURNING THE LIVING, a new drama directed by Alan Souza about caregivers of those afflicted with Alzheimer's disease, April 7th through April 22nd at the Dorothy Strelsin Theatre at 312 West 36th Street in Manhattan.

The World Premiere of Multiple Family Dwelling will be produced by New Jersey Repertory Company (NJ Rep) from March 9th to April 9th. Written by James Hindman, and directed by Alan Souza, it stars Dana Brooke, Dustin Charles, Maria Couch and Jared Michael Delaney.

Drury Lane Theatre has announced the complete lineup of its 2017/2018 season, opening with Chicago, having attained the exclusive rights to revitalize the sensational mega-hit with home town authenticity.

The Thespis Theater Festival will present the world premiere of Mickele Hogan's first full-length play, "Mourning the Living," which explores the struggle of caring for a loved one diagnosed with Alzheimer's.

The play will be presented at 9 p.m. on Aug. 11; 1 p.m. on Aug. 13 and 6 p.m. on Aug. 14 at the Hudson Guild Theater, 441 West 26th Street, between 9th and 10th Avenues.  Tickets are $18 and can be obtained through http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/2551912. It is directed by Alan Souza, who has directed both plays and musicals for Drury Lane/Chicago, The Laguna Playhouse, and Texas Shakespeare Festivals, among others.

Under the direction of acclaimed director/choreographer Otis Sallid (Smokey Joe's Cafe, Black Nativity), all 47 students will perform for the Broadway industry's top casting directors, agents, directors, and producers in the heart of New York City.
