The Broadway Dreams Foundation (BDF) presented its first-ever NYC Summer Performing Arts Intensive this June 8 - 14, 2015 at RWS & Associates in Long Island City, NY. The week was led by directors Otis Sallid (Black Nativity, Smokey Joe''s Café) and Alan Souza (Camelot) along with a talented roster of Broadway professionals, including Tim Acito (Zanna, Don''t!), Tituss Burgess ("Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt," The Little Mermaid), Quentin Earl Darrington (Ragtime), Sara Jean Ford (Phantom), Ari Groover (Holler If Ya Hear Me), Tony Award-winner Lena Hall (Hedwig), Donnie Kehr (Jersey Boys), Lindsay Mendez (Wicked), Maxx Reed (Spider-Man Turn Off The Dark), John Tartaglia (Avenue Q), songwriter, Jeremy Schonfeld, Adam Kantor (Last Five Years), Tony Vincent (NBC's "The Voice," American Idiot), and Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winner Robert Schenkkan (All The Way).

The Broadway Dreams Foundation is a premier, national performing arts education program dedicated to ongoing engagement, inspiration, and access regardless of a student''s ability to pay. With a faculty of Broadway stars, directors and agents committed to giving back to the theatrical community, BDF provides invaluable training to anyone who aspires for a career in the performing arts. The unique program offers students highly personalized and supportive mentorship, an exciting, and collaborative learning environment and ongoing networking to build confidence and life skills.

As a direct result of their participation in BDF programing, more than 60 BDF students have landed roles in Broadway, national touring and regional productions, including Beautiful The Carole King Musical (Aisha Jackson and Noah Ricketts), The Book of Mormon (Paris Nesbitt), Violet (Emerson Steele), If/Then (Ryann Redmond), Holler If Ya Hear Me (Ariana Groover), Annie (Gabby Bradbury), Evita (Katie Huff), The Gershwins'' Porgy and Bess (Lindsay Roberts), Motown the Musical (Rodney Earl Jackson, Galen Williams, Melanie Evans), Barry Manilow''s Harmony (Greg Kamp), and more.
