Paines Plough, the UK's leading new writing company, is delighted to announce full cast and creative team for its Roundabout 2016 productions. Accomplished stage and screen actors Remy Beasley, Richard Corgan and Andy Rush will form an ensemble to perform the company's three new plays which will premiere from 5 to 28 August at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe before touring the UK. Hoff-Barthelson Music School's 2015-2016 Master Class Series continues with clarinetist Alan Kay on Sunday, May 1, 2016, at 6:00 p.m., at Hoff-Barthelson Music School, 25 School Lane, Scarsdale. A perfume counter retail worker has won the Bruntwood Prize for Playwriting with a piece of work she created for her dissertation at the Royal Central School for Speech and Drama. Katherine Soper's play Wish List took the honour at a ceremony at Manchester's Royal Exchange Theatre.
Wish List by Katherine Soper, who currently works in a perfumery on Regent Street in London, was today announced as the winner of the 10th anniversary Bruntwood Prize for Playwriting 2015 - Europe's biggest playwriting prize. She wins a prize of £16,000, and a residency at the Royal Exchange Theatre, Manchester, where today's award ceremony took place and the process towards production begins.
Actors for the remaining plays in Sunday Readings In The Park at Park Theatre have been revealed. Anita Dobson, Angela Griffin, Michael McKell, Andrew C Wadsworth and Honeysuckle Weeks will take part in the intimate readings in the idyllic PARK90 until 6th December. The season is presented by The New Actors Company in association with Park Theatre.
