The Boston Symphony Orchestra and Music Director Andris Nelsons will present a 2021-22 Symphony Hall season, September 30-April 30, that will first and foremost celebrate reuniting with their music community post-pandemic, while also continuing the orchestra’s commitment to welcoming new audiences.

The Met has announced themed lineups for three weeks of its Nightly Met Opera Streams, the company's ongoing series of encore Live in HD presentations and classic telecasts streamed on its website during the Covid-19 closure. The schedule begins with a week, leading up to Father's Day on June 20, comprising a selection of operas featuring themes of fatherhood.

American Composers Orchestra will present its next Composer to Composer Talk online with Meredith Monk and Missy Mazzoli on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at 5pm ET. Los Angeles Opera has a number of excellent recitals on its website including one by baritone Craig Colclough in which he sings the Shakespeare monologues from Otello and Macbeth that Verdi set to music. Together with pianist Jeremy Frank, Colclough presents a program that also includes works by Beethoven, Wagner, Porter, and Vaughan Williams.

WQXR, New York City’s classical music station, today announced Beethoven Immortal, five days of special programming exploring the legacy of Ludwig van Beethoven, in honor of his 250th birthday. The festival airs Saturday, December 12 - Wednesday, December 16.
