Theatro Technis has shared photos ahead of its premiere of LOVE OMAR, a backstage-comedy drama and 'love letter to theatre' by Hannah Khalil. Check out the photos here!

Written by acclaimed playwright Hannah Khalil, Love Omar is a love letter to theatre set backstage at Chichester Festival Theatre in 1983 when Omar Sharif starred in Terence Rattigan's The Sleeping Prince.

Director and CEO of Fuel, Kate McGrath has announced the company's first shows for 2023. A UK tour of Hannah Lavery's new play Protest directed by Natalie Ibu will begin performances at Northern Stage in May followed by dates in Scotland and England. 

In the 18th century, Gretchen, played by Lauren Moakes, witnesses the Royal Society return from a polar expedition with a mysterious oyster, promising unlimited wealth on the eve of industrial revolution. Present day, Maisie, played by Yohanna Ephrem, sets out to livestream from the Arctic as part of a questionable brand partnership. Lulit, played by Tamaira Hesson, wakes on an ice rink, struggling to remember what happened to her last night.

Following a sell-out run at Rose Theatre Kingston, the acclaimed two-part adaptation of Elena Ferrante's MY BRILLIANT FRIEND by April De Angelis is reworked for the Olivier stage by Melly Still. Niamh Cusack and Catherine McCormack return to the roles they originated as Lenu and Lila.

When the most important person in her life goes missing without a trace, Lenu Greco, now a celebrated author, begins to recall a relationship of more than 60 years. First meeting on the dangerous streets of post-war Naples, friends Lila and Lenu experience turbulent social and political change, from the rise of the Camorra to the sexual revolution and the transformation of their neighbourhood, city and nation. But even as life repeatedly tries to pull them in separate directions, they remain inextricably bound to one another.

Full casting is now confirmed for the West End Transfer of the National Theatre?s sell-out production of Michael Morpurgo?s War Horse, adapted by Nick Stafford. War Horse will run at the New London Theatre from 28 March booking until 26 September with press night on 3 April.
