WaterTower Theatre Producing Artistic Director Terry Martin today announced the cast for Spunk running through May 4, 2014 on the Main Stage at the Addison Theatre Centre. Directed by Akin Babatunde, the cast features Liz Mikel (Blues Speak Woman) and Joshua Bridgewater, Tiffany Denise Hobbs, Marcus Mauldin, and Calvin Roberts as The Folk. Directed by Akin Babatunde, the cast features Liz Mikel (Blues Speak Woman), Tim Clifton (Guitar Man), and Joshua Bridgewater, Tiffany Denise Hobbs, Marcus Mauldin, and Calvin Roberts as The Folk.

The Adventures of Tom Sawyer (January 24-February 16, 2014) will be directed by Emily Scott Banks. Spunk (April 11-May 4, 2014) will be directed by Akin Babatunde.Good People (June 6-29, 2014) will be directed by Rene Moreno and Dogfight (July 25-August 17, 2014) will be directed by Terry Martin.

Dallas Theater Center presents To Kill a Mockingbird at the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre at the AT&T Performing Arts Center Oct. 21 - Nov. 20. Wendy Dann will direct the play, which is the first ever co-production between DTC and Casa Mañana Theatre. This classic story will also be the focus of an area-wide Community Read lead by DTC in partnership with the Dallas Public Library and other organizations.

Jubilee Theatre continues the 2009-2010 season with the Southwest premiere of the drama by August Wilson, Gem of the Ocean. Over the past 20 years, Wilson had staked a legitimate claim to the title of the nation's most important dramatist winning two Pulitzers and a Tony. Previews for the production will begin May 28, and the production officially opens on June 4.
