Kinky Boots producers Daryl Roth and Hal Luftig are thrilled to announce today that the hit musical Kinky Boots celebrates its five-year anniversary on Broadway on Wednesday, April 4 at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th St.) . The winner of six 2013 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Kinky Boots features a Tony Award-winning score by Cyndi Lauper, a book by Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein, direction and choreography by Tony Award-winner Jerry Mitchell.

NEW LIGHT THEATER PROJECT presents Douglas Sills (Tony nominee Scarlet Pimpernel) in a staged reading of Deception by Brian Christopher Williams, on March 19, 2018, in Midtown Manhattan at 1pm and 5pm.

Rock singer and former American Idol David Cook will be making his Broadway debut as Charlie Price in Kinky Boots this spring! Cook will begin performances on Tuesday, April 3, 2018. He will play a limited run through Saturday, May 5, 2018.

He will play a strictly limited run through Friday, April 26, 2018.

Led by Scissor Sisters front-man Jake Shears as Charlie Price and J. This past Thursday Broadway Sessions celebrated the 5th birthday of our beloved and uber-talented musical director, Joshua Stephen Kartes. Joshua had but one birthday wish- he wanted to blow out his candles like 'Bobby' in Sondheim's masterpiece, Company. So that's exactly what we gave him!

BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano. This Thursday night, September 14th, Broadway Sessions will celebrate the 35th birthday of our resident musical genius Joshua Stephen Kartes with an all star roster performing songs from Sondheim masterpiece 'Company'

Alternative Press is reporting that the cast of Kinky Boots is currently running an online auction of collectibles and fan experiences to raise money for Eric L. Summers who is currently battling cancer. All proceeds will go towards his medical bills.

On Monday, August 7th, cast members from the Broadway and touring productions of Kinky Boots will take to the stage of Feinstein's/54 Below to sing the music of Cyndi Lauper. The concert will serve as a benefit to help pay the medical bills of Kinky Boots cast member Eric LaJuan Summers, who was recently diagnosed with cancer.

And what better way to celebrate nine years of hurt special brand of musical theatre mania than with an "Inappropriate" Anniversary Show. We welcomed back a roster of Broadway Sessions favorites to share wildly inappropriate tunes and memories. The results were memorable, well, for most of our audience at least ;)
