THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION, a new six-part, 12-hour documentary series that explores the country’s founding and its eight-year War for Independence, will premiere on Sunday, November 16.

Apple TV+ has shared a sneak peek clip from the season finale of “Sugar.” The eight-episode series stars Academy Award nominee Colin Farrell, Kirby, Amy Ryan, James Cromwell, Anna Gunn, Dennis Boutsikaris, Nate Corddry, Sydney Chandler, and Alex Hernandez. Rikki Lee Travolta will head the cast of Elgin Theatre Company's mounting of Paul Rudnick's iconic comedy I Hate Hamlet opening September 30, 2022, at the Elgin Arts Showcase just north of Chicago. Under the direction of Regina Belt-Daniels, Travolta will play the role of Andrew Rally – a famous but not terribly talented TV star who is cast in the title role of Shakespeare in the Park's Hamlet.

Epix has renewed Get Shorty for a a seven-episode third season, according to Deadline. The dark comedy is one of Epix's three original three scripted series, along with Berlin Station and Graves, and comes from the now-sole owner MGM.

The Paley Center for Media announced today that it will host its 12th annual PaleyFest Fall TV Previews September 6-16, 2018, at the Paley Center's Beverly Hills location. The ten-day festival celebrates the most anticipated new shows of the Fall 2018 television season as well as returning favorites from all five major broadcast networks, cable television, and premium streaming services. Each event includes screenings followed by star-studded discussions with the series cast and creatives.

Premium pay television network EPIX®, an MGM company, today announced that production is underway on its critically-acclaimed original series Get Shorty, with Emmy® and Golden Globe®-winning and Academy Award®-nominated actress Felicity Huffman (Transamerica, Desperate Housewives) joining the cast as a recurring guest star. Huffman will play Clara Dillard, a mothering, high-level special agent for the FBI, described as hippie therapist meets J. Edgar Hoover.
