NYC's favorite fill-in-the-blanks comedy will complete its monthly series on Tuesday, January 17, with the fabulously unorthodox, three-time Tony nominee Mary Testa (Oklahoma!, The Good Fight), the glorious Broadway belter Lavon Fisher-Wilson (Disney's Newsies, Chicago), and more.

Debbie Allen is one of those arts types that simply doesn’t fit into one category. I think it is safe to say she is an all-around goddess of the arts. Her list of achievements includes being directed by Bob Fosse and Jerome Robbins, directing Cat on a Hot Tin Roof on Broadway, choreographing the Oscars, being an executive producer and actress on the long running Grey’s Anatomy, and running a dance academy that bears her name.

Irving Weiser composed the song 'There I Go' which was #1 in the USA for three weeks in December, 1940. It was recorded by Frank Sinatra, Doris Day, Fats Waller, Dinah Washington and about 30 others. Weiser also composed the music for the song 'That's My Affair' which is sung by the Andrews Sisters in the Universal film Always A Bridesmaid. Weiser turned to teaching music in the 1950s, but never stopped composing. He placed his songs in a box in his basement where they remained hidden for decades. After Weiser's grandson, Adam Kreiselman, discovered the box, he founded Kreiselman Music Publishing to focus on the Weiser catalog. Demos and videos are regularly produced and all songs are available for licensing.

Fred Barton's Broadway Band makes its long-awaited return to Feinstein's/54 Below and New York nightlife, with top-drawer guest singers, in a new evening of Broadway gems and Swing rarities, Today, January 4 at 9:30PM. Not seen anywhere since its original production with Julie Harris, Charles Nelson Reilly, and Peter Marshall, which closed in 1966, SKYCRAPER received 5 Tony Award nominations in a year that also included Man of La Mancha, Mame, and Sweet Charity. Not too shabby.

The Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival presents the classic Gershwin musical comedy CRAZY FOR YOU. Performances run from tonight, July 27, through August 17 at the Merry-Go-Round Playhouse as part of the Festival's 2016 season. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!
