The acclaimed Broadway Sings concert series will continue on June 18 at 8pm, honoring singer-songwriter Kelly Clarkson with a cast of Broadway stars including Christine Dwyer (Wicked), Frankie James Grande (Rock of Ages), Emma Hunton (Next to Normal), and Ashley Park (Mean Girls). THE BOOK OF MORMON is a satirical musical with book, lyrics, and music by Trey Parker, Robert Lopez and Matt Stone. Parker and Stone, the creators of the long running Comedy Central animated series South Park, along with Lopez, the co-composer/co-lyricist of Avenue Q and Frozen, have created a show that simultaneously deconstructs the American musical while paying loving homage to it. THE BOOK OF MORMON is the story of two young Mormon missionaries who are sent to Uganda on their first mission. The only thing the two boys have in common is their naive outlook on life. When they try to spread 'the word' among the locals they discover that religion is the last thing the villagers are concerned about.

THE GREEN ROOM 42 - Broadway's newest intimate concert venue - has announced that WAYNE BRADY will join "THE SOUL SESSION," the monthly event created and hosted by Broadway's KYLE TAYLOR PARKER, as a special musical guest on Sunday, April 22 at 9:30 PM. "THE SOUL SESSION" is an evening of showtunes and pop standards reimagined into stirring R&B, jazz and soul arrangements that feature music from shows like Hairspray, West Side Story, The Color Purple, and more. The show is directed by Nathan Peck with Music Direction by Joshua Stephen Kartes. The April edition will also feature Christiani Pitts (A Bronx Tale) as special guest.

THE BOOK OF MORMON runs March 20 - April 1, 2018 in Segerstrom Hall. Entries will be accepted at the box office beginning two and a half hours prior to each performance; each person will print their name and the number of tickets (1 or 2) they wish to purchase on a card that is provided. Two hours before curtain, names will be drawn at random for a limited number of tickets priced at $25 each, cash only. Only one entry is allowed per person. Cards are checked for duplication prior to drawing. Winners must be present at the time of the drawing and show valid ID to purchase tickets. Limit one entry per person and two tickets per winner. Tickets are subject to availability.
