Kacie Riddle BIO

At the age of 9, Kacie was cast in the ensemble of The Minnesota Opera's World premiere The Grapes of Wrath at the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts. She went on to play Young Cosette in Les Miserables at the Chanhassen Dinner Theater. In 2007 she was cast as Marta in The Sound of Music at the Ordway Center in St. Paul. She played Young Georgette in the Ordway's Yankee Doodle directed by James Rocco. In 2008, Kacie played Clementine in Madeline and the Gypsies at the Minneapolis Children's Theatre Company. Director Walter Bobbie cast her as Susan in Ordway Center's Irving Berlin's White Christmas in December 2008. Kacie played Lee Bouvier in Park Square/Ordway Centers Grey Gardens in 2009 and Kacie returned to the Ordway Center in December to play Chip in Disney's Beauty and the Beast. In 2010, Kacie played the role of young Fanny in A Christmas Carol at the Guthrie Theater, under the direction of Joe Dowling. In 2011, Kacie played the role of Miri in Stages Theater Company's Princess Academy and Leslie in Bridge to Terabithia. At the age of 13, Kacie played the role of Coco in Coco's Diary at the History Theatre in St. Paul. In late 2012, Kacie played Madeline in Madeline's Christmas at Stages Theater Company in Hopkins, Minnesota.

McKnight Theatre Bids Farewell to The Ordway with THE NIGHT OF A MILLION STARS Tonight


The Ordway will say farewell to the McKnight Theatre in grand style tonight, April 28 at 7:30 pm, in a special performance called, 'The Night of a Million Stars.' The concert production will highlight area artists and feature musical pieces from productions previously held in the McKnight Theatre.

Baldwin and Lehr Lead Ordway/Park Square's 'GREY GARDENS' Beginning 3/17


Two of the Twin Cities' most accomplished actors, Wendy Lehr and Christina Baldwin, will play the indomitable mother and daughter, 'Big' Edie and 'Little' Edie, in the Park Square Theatre and the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts co-production of GREY GARDENS, opening March 25, 2009 (previews begin March 17). The show, by librettist Doug Wright, lyricist Michael Korie and composer Scott Frankel, earned widespread critical acclaim and three Tony? Awards during its nine-month run on Broadway. GREY GARDENS runs through May 17 in the Ordway's McKnight Theatre, 345 Washington St., Saint Paul.
