Virginia Repertory Theatre has named Desirée Roots as Co-Artistic Director Community. Roots is one of Virginia's best known and most accomplished performing artists. She is the first of three Co-Artistic Directors to be announced in a new leadership model that will steer all artistic aspects of Central Virginia's flagship professional theatre according to Phil Whiteway, Managing Director and co-founder of Virginia Rep.

The 48 HOURS team takes on two separate murder mysteries in a Saturday night double feature to be broadcastAugust 22, 2015 (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

With only 15 percent of homicide detectives in the U.S. being women, the working lives of female detectives are not as well documented as those of their male counterparts. INSIDE HOMICIDE takes a ride along with three female homicide detectives who work in the Cincinnati and Atlanta areas, conveying the high intensity of working the homicide unit in real-time. With dogged determination, Detectives Summer Benton, Jenny Luke and Jennifer Mitsch work relentlessly to bring closure to victims' families. From the actual 911 call to on-site questioning with witnesses and even real interrogation footage with suspects, viewers dive into the raw and gritty action that's part of these women's everyday lives. The eight-part series INSIDE HOMICIDE will premiere beginning tonight, October 9 at 10/9c on Investigation Discovery.

Directed by Michael Barakiva and choreographed by Brodway's Mimi Quillin, the production features Brodway veterans Patrick Ryan Sullivan as Harold Hill and Teri Bibb as Marian Paroo.
