With the help of artists from throughout American Conservatory Theater's (A.C.T.) celebrated 50-year history-as well as current Master of Fine Arts Program (M.F.A.) and Young Conservatory (YC) students-A.C.T. raised over $1.2 million at its 2017 Season Gala, which took place on Thursday, April 27 at A.C.T.'s Strand Theater and Costume Shop Theater. The proceeds from the Gala support A.C.T.'s actor training and arts education programs.

Shout! Factory Films announced today that acclaimed animated feature LONG WAY NORTH, a film by Rémi Chayé, will open theatrically on September 30, 2016 in Los Angeles, New York and select major markets, to be followed by openings in additional cities.

In June 2011, the world of film with all its intrigue and glamour will return as the GCIFF partners with the Town of North Hempstead / Nassau County and Clearview Cinemas to celebrate film and community, past and present, in the five towns of Great Neck, Manhasset, Roslyn, New Hyde Park/Herricks and Port Washington.
