The Make-Up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild (MUAHS) has announced nominations for the 2024 MUAHS Guild Awards. The MUAHS Awards represent a spectrum of outstanding achievements in 23 categories of make-up and hair styling artistry in motion pictures, television, commercials, music videos and live theater.

The Make-Up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild (IATSE Local 706) announced winners of its 10th Annual Make-Up Artists & Hair Stylists Awards, presented by Dyson and HASK Beauty, in 23 categories of film, television, commercials, and live theater. The gala was held on Saturday night, February 11, 2023, before a live audience at The Beverly Hilton. It was also live-streamed to an audience of millions worldwide.

The Magnet Theater presents The Fourth Annual New York Musical Improv Festival from October 4-7. Over 100 performers from as far as Toronto, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Oklahoma City, Minneapolis, Pittsburgh, Washington DC and as close as Broadway, NYC will converge on the Magnet Theater stage to create fully improvised musical performances - ranging from traditional musical theatre fare to adrenaline-pumping rap battles.

Magnet Theater hosts a variety of performances and special events by the best of New York's improv masters and visiting international artists on Mondays through Sundays in March at 254 W. 29th Street, ground floor (between 7th and 8th Avenues), NYC. Gravid Water consists of two person scenes, pairing an actor who has prepared a scene from a play with an improvisor who has no knowledge of the material their scene partner is using.
