A true star-studded evening recently played Carnegie Hall as the New York Pops celebrates 39 years with a gala featuring the works of Kristen & Bobby Lopez,

EXUBERANCE, a noun meaning the quality of being full of energy, excitement, and cheerfulness. If you've seen Mark Nadler on stage, you know he is the quintessential living and breathing definition of this word.

The evening OF Divas FOR Divas which Reinecke then skillfully (as always) conducted arrangements (by himself and others) of tunes penned by the likes of Adele, the Gershwins, Gloria Estefan, and Krieger & Eyen. Sending his Valentines love out to Eric, who was in attendance, the whole evening wrapped the audience up in the warm, INCLUSIVE blanket of music by The Pops playing at the top of their form and making a celebration of LOVE for all Music Lovers

Over the past few weeks, an enormous variety of musical and comic talent have stormed the Birdland stage during Jim Caruso's iconic Cast Party. Accompanied by musical director Billy Stritch, with Steve Doyle on bass and Daniel Glass on drums, the performers have run the gamut from up-and-coming hopefuls to Broadway stars.

On April 10, 2015 at 8:00PM, The New York Pops closed its 32nd subscription season at Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage, with four of today's finest entertainers - Tony DeSare, Storm Large, Frankie Moreno, and Ryan Silverman - in a celebration of the centennial of America's original idol, Frank Sinatra. Music Director Steven Reineke had another gig right after the Pops Holiday Concert which featured Matthew Morrison and Kelli O'Hara. Steven was the pianist and conducted the sing along for the lucky concert goers that signed up for the after-party at Trattoria Dell'Arte which is across the street from Carnegie Hall.

Seen onstage and in the audience were pop culture icon/performer Weird Al Yankovic, 5-time Grammy-nominee Michael Feinstein, 'American Idol' finalist Kimberley Locke, Lindsay Pearce from 'Glee' and 'The Glee Project,' Drake Bell from Nickelodeon's 'Drake & Josh,' Domenic Scaglione (Frankie in Jersey Boys), New York Pops conductor Stephen Reineke, Andrea Fryerson (The Lion King), Victoria Shaw (songwriter, 'The River' and producer, Lady Antebellum), multi-platinum-selling recording artist Jim Brickman, Superbowl champ/singer Benjamin Utecht, Broadway's Max Von Essen, and Amra-Faye Wright (currently Velma Kelly in Chicago)...among many, many others!

Tony Award winner David Hyde Pierce will appear with the Philadelphia Orchestra to narrate Benjamin Britten's Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra at Saratoga Performing Arts Center, in Saratoga Springs, NY, on July 29 at 8pm. In addition, the roster of events will include an evening with Grammy winning saxophonist Branford Marsalis, and a full screening of classic film Casablanca with a live orchestral performance of the film's score.
