Shakespeare may have been in love with Viola in this season's premiering romance/comedy Shakespeare in Love at the brand new installation for TheatreSquared, 477 W. Spring Street, in Downtown Fayetteville, but I was in love with this theatre the moment I stepped inside the venue. The look of the building, the eagerness from the staff, and the fun coming from my fellow patrons made Wednesday night's (Aug. 28) production immensely enjoyable. Running through September 15, this performance is a must see.

The World Premiere of Todd Taylor's FLAMINGO & DECATUR opened January 10th and runs through February 18th. The play, presented by Block Street Theatre Company at Theater Wit, follows two friends who decide the best way to save money is to live in one of the Las Vegas houses left empty after the 2008 housing crash.

After a startling Christmas Eve encounter, Pip's life will never be the same. Plucked from poverty and thrust into the Victorian upper class, he strives to discover himself and find true love while untangling a web of secrets. Six actors portray more than 30 characters in this virtuosic retelling for the stage.
