This January, Hedgerow Theatre Company kicks off its 100th Anniversary with a one-night only engagement performed by and directed by Hedgerow legends. Rob Morrow and Jaime Camil hosted the American Friends of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra (AFIPO) 2018 Los Angeles Gala, honoring Grammy and Tony-nominated American composer Stanley Silverman, on the occasion of his 80th birthday. The award was presented by his son and event co-chair Ben Silverman, Chairman and Co-CEO of Propagate Content. Previous recipients of the award include multi-Oscar winning composer Hans Zimmer in 2014, and conductor Zubin Mehta in 2017.

Stanley Silverman will be honored by the American Friends of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra (AFIPO), on the occasion of his 80th birthday, at their upcoming Los Angeles gala, October 25, 2018 at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills.  The event will honor the life and work of the diverse Grammy and Tony nominated American composer, with a program inclusive of classical and popular music Silverman has composed for both theater and film, along with remarks by special guests. Actors Rob Morrow and Jane the Virgin star Jaime Camil will MC the event. Silverman joins other musical legends who have been honored by the AFIPO at their Los Angeles gala, including multi-Oscar winning composer Hans Zimmer in 2014, and conductor Zubin Mehta in 2017.

Previn, who has been called one of America's least easily categorized musicians, began his remarkable career as a Hollywood "wunderkind" and a best-selling jazz pianist. Now 86, Previn has received four Academy Awards for his work in film, 10 Grammy Awards for his recordings (plus one more for his Lifetime Achievement), and he is also an honorary Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire. He's held a series of major conducting posts, including the L.A. Philharmonic and the London Symphony Orchestra, but now exclusively composes. The concert is led by Music Director Carl St.Clair, whose great admiration for the legend shaped this year's ACF to reveal the scope of Previn's prowess as a composer.

The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University, under the leadership of Artistic Director Diane Paulus, announces the casting of the world premiere of Crossing, an opera by Matthew Aucoin, directed by Diane Paulus, featuring the chamber orchestra A Far Cry, produced in association with Music-Theatre Group.

Eminent composer Stanley Silverman to attend the UK premiere of Arthur Miller's only musical Up From Paradise on Wednesday 23rd July followed by a free post-show Q&A. Based on Miller's 1972 play The Creation of the World and Other Business, Silverman wrote the musical with Arthur Miller in 1973.

A London premiere from one of the world's most celebrated playwrights, Arthur Miller, Up From Paradise, Miller's only musical, opens at the New Wimbledon Studio on Tuesday 22nd July 2014 (Press night: Wednesday 23rd July at 7.45pm) for a one week limited run.
