As the Orange Tree Theatre continues to celebrate its 50th Anniversary year, Artistic Director Paul Miller and Executive Director Hanna Streeter today announce a new season of plays until March 2023, marking Miller's outgoing season as Artistic Director.

The Orange Tree Theatre today announces the full cast for Pierre Marivaux's The False Servant, translated by Martin Crimp, whose prolific international career began at the Orange Tree Theatre, including the recent hit revival of Dealing with Clair. Before his final season as Artistic Director of the OT, Paul Miller, directs Uzair Bhatti, Will Brown, Julian Moore-Cook, Phoebe Pryce, Lizzy Watts and Silas Wyatt-Barke.

Jeff Landsman, in association with Artistic New Directions, presents Tandy Cronyn, veteran New York and regional stage actor, in The Tall Boy, a play by Simon Bent based on 'The Lost' by Kay Boyle, directed by David Hammond, December 5 – 15 at Stage 773, 1225 W. Belmont Ave. Performance schedule is Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. Fridays at 8 p.m., Saturdays at 3 and 8 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. Opening/press night is Thursday, Dec. 5 at 7:30 p.m. The current running time is 70 minutes with no intermission. Tandy Cronyn will star in The Tall Boy, a play by Simon Bent based on 'The Lost' by Kay Boyle and directed by David Hammond. It will be presented on Saturday, September 28 at 2pm at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street) as part of United Solo Theatre Festival. Having won their award for Best Adaptation in 2014, The Tall Boy has been invited back to the Festival as a 'The Best Of' selection for United Solo's Tenth Anniversary season. In December The Tall Boy will go to Chicago for a limited run (December 5 -15) at Stage 773.

The Washington Stage Guild starts its 'Pearl Anniversary' season with a remount of one of America's favorite holiday stories in It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play. It's Christmas Eve, 1946, and we are the studio audience for a local radio station as its cast of voice actors and one very busy sound effects man broadcast the beloved tale of George Bailey and his encounter with Clarence, his guardian angel.
