BIO

Sarah was the Associate Artistic Director of the The Active Theater, NYC. Acting credits include Les Miserables (25th Anniversary Tour), OKLAHOMA! ("Ado Annie" – Revival National Tour) Les Miserables ("Eponine" - Houston TUTS), Little Women ("Jo" - Syracuse Stage), Picnic at Hanging Rock (Lincoln Center & The O’Neill Theater Center), OKLAHOMA! ("Ado Annie" – Fulton Opera House), Married Alive! and Magnetic North (Act 2 Playhouse), Oedipus at Colonus (Handcart Ensemble), Stephen Schwartz's Snapshots ("Susie"). TV: Guiding Light (CBS), The Band (NYTVF). As a director, Sarah has assisted Bud Martin, Gabriel Barre, and Scott C. Embler on several projects in NYC and Philadelaphia, including "Respect - A Musical Journey of Women" and "Bloodties" in NYMF 2010. In 2005, Sarah started her own website design company, Saranya Designs (www.saranyadesigns.com). She is also an animal lover and NYU Tisch graduate.

Les Misérables made its pre-Broadway premiere at the Kennedy Center in December 1986, and now Cameron Mackintosh's new 25th anniversary production of Boublil and Schönberg's Les Misérables will run in the Kennedy Center Opera House from September 28 to October 30, 2011. Featuring glorious new staging and spectacular reimagined scenery inspired by the paintings of Victor Hugo, the production is directed by Laurence Connor and James Powell with music by Claude-Michel Schönberg, lyrics by Herbert Kretzmer from the original French text by Alain Boublil and Jean-Marc Natel.
