Broadway Records announced today that the world premiere recording of Stephen Schwartz’s Snapshots: A Musical Scrapbook, from the legendary Broadway and film composer Stephen Schwartz, and writer David Stern, is now available on all digital platforms.

This summer, the Emelin Theatre will collaborate with the Village of Mamaroneck and take to the outdoor stage at Harbor Island Park in Mamaroneck. 

On December 14th, Isabella Rossellini will headline in a one-night only show in support of the Gateway. On this festive evening, she will perform selections from her ever-popular Sundance Channel series MAMMAS about instinct in animals.  Since 2008  Isabella has conceived, written, and directed several short comical films about animal behaviors.

Whether the film was a sentimental part of your childhood or not, the story and the music of 'The Sound of Music' will transport you back to the Golden Age of musical theatre. With stellar casting and top-notch production value, The Gateway's production is perhaps the closest you will get to Broadway on Long Island.

Following the sold-out run of "Mamma Mia!," ACT of Connecticut (A Contemporary Theatre) is excited to present the next show in its inaugural schedule. Ridgefield's new state-of-the-art theater will produce the acclaimed Broadway musical EVITA from October 4-28.

Bailer, Francesc Esteve, Matt Maretz, Conor McGee and Ryan Mulgrew.  They give the audience a feast for the ears and eyes. With piano, bass, drums and guitar accompaniment, the show has been conceived by with musical direction by Phil Hall.  This is a show based on pop music with some Broadway thrown as well as many songs, familiar--which gives each of the five guys to showcase their unique style and talent as well as sexiest interpretation to the stage.

The Kennedy Center today announced casting for the Washington, D.C. engagement of Evita which runs in the Kennedy Center Opera House from September 30 to October 19, 2014. Directed by Tony and Olivier Award-winner Michael Grandage and choreographed by Tony Award-winner Rob Ashford, this is the first new Broadway production of the seven-time Tony Award-winning musical since it debuted on Broadway more than 30 years ago. The press opening night is Thursday, October 2, 2014 at 7:30 p.m.

The stunning new production of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's Evita will make its Twin Cities premiere January 28-February 2, 2014 at the Orpheum Theatre (910 Hennepin Ave.) in Minneapolis. This version features updated orchestrations, choreography and scenic design offering a more authentic portrait of Argentinean culture and Eva's rise to and fall from power. Hernandez were on hand to not only talk to tour stars Caroline Bowman (Eva Peron), Josh Young (Che) and Sean MacLaughlin (Juan Peron) and Evita Producer Hal Luftig, but such Hollywood celebrities as Shirley Jones, Marty Ingels, Patrick Cassidy, Sam Harris, Greg Louganis and partner Johnny Chaillot, Disney's G. Hannelius (Dog with a Blog), Hal Sparks (Disney XD's Lab Rats) among others. In addition to Hal Luftig, Evita Producers include Scott Sanders, Troika Entertainment & The Nederlander Organization.
