Romar De De Claro

Romar will be appearing at Woodminster in the summer of 2014 as Enjolras in Les Miserables, and as Wang Ta in Flower Drum Song. He was last seen as Whizzer in the highly controversial musical FALSETTOND with StirFry Theatre in San Jose & again reprised that role in San Francisco. His other credits include Lun Tha in THE KING AND I with Broadway by The Bay, Mereb in Elton John’s AIDA at Willows Theatre. He has performed in several musicals and dance concerts including AMTSJ’s production of MISS SAIGON and PHANTOM. He was a frequent performer with the Sacramento Music Circus (California Musical Theatre) with credits such as WEST SIDE STORY, A CHORUS LINE, 7 BRIDES FOR 7 BROTHERS, JOSEPH...DREAMCOAT. Other credits include PACIFIC OVERTURES with Theatreworks, ONCE ON THIS ISLAND, CABIN IN THE SKY, JUMBO, SWEET CHARITY, GYPSY, FLOWER DRUM SONG, PIRATES OF PENZANCE to name a few. He also had an opportunity to work with the composer and writer of DREAMGIRLS on a world premiere production of KEPT with Theatreworks. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Accounting and attended CSU Sacramento.
