n Today, December 17, the Princeton Symphony Orchestra (PSO) Holiday POPS! Seasonal Delights concert embraces the spirit of the season with the Princeton High School Choir and New Jersey Tap Ensemble at 4 pm and 7 pm performances led by Music Director Rossen Milanov at Richardson Auditorium on Princeton University Campus. The festive program includes March of the Toys by Victor Herbert, "Christmas Concerto" by Arcangelo Corelli, selections from Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker, and Robert Shaw's The Many Moods of Christmas. Of course, no Holiday POPS! concert is complete without the tradition of the audience joining in on carols arranged by Leroy Anderson.

José Daniel Flores-Caraballo Appointed New Chorus Director of the Vermont Symphony Orchestra

The Vermont Symphony Orchestra has appointed José Daniel Flores-Caraballo as Chorus Director. He succeeds Robert De Cormier who retired following a 20 year tenure and whose timeless dedication and endless passion allowed the VSO Chorus to grow and become recognized for its merits and outstanding music presentation. “I am thrilled to be the new Director of the VSO Chorus. It is a great honor, indeed, following the footsteps of a major figure of the choral world, Robert DeCormier,” comments Flores. The search yielded nearly 60 applicants from all over the globe with finalists coming to Vermont to audition with the Chorus.
