The children's theatre production A Year With Frog and Toad returns to the Arvada Center this fall, running October 13 December 29, 2017. The musical is adapted from the beloved Frog and Toad series of books by Arnold Lobel, and is suitable for all ages. The Musical, with Book by Sybille Pearson based on a story developed with Susan Yankowitz, Music by David Shire with Lyrics by Richard Maltby, Jr. The show is directed by Pat Payne with music direction by Rob Lowe, with Rob Lowe and Trent Hines on Piano and choreography by Piper Arpan.

Known for his work on Broadway, Off-Broadway, LA Theater and Television, including the series Too Close for Comfort and The New Hollywood Squares, Jim previously performed the role of Wilbur Turnblad on Broadway. This time Jim takes the Arvada Center stage as the favorite 'Mother of the 50's forced into the 60's', Edna Turnblad. This fully staged regional production of Hairspray closes July 17, 2011.
