Arvada Center Announces Cast for A CHRISTMAS CAROL, THE MUSICAL-Joseph Dellger to Play Ebenezer Scrooge

The Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities has selected its largest cast ever for the Colorado premiere of A CHRISTMAS CAROL, THE MUSICAL, which opens November 23 and runs through December 23, 2010. Joseph Dellger, known for his work on Broadway and in a number of national tours, will play the role of Ebenezer Scrooge.

Under the artistic direction of Rod A. Lansberry, this all-new, originally created production is set in a traditional Dickens village and also features Matt Mueller as Bob Cratchit, Drew Frady as Jacob Marley, and Evan Thomas Sullivan as Tiny Tim. Ashlie-Amber Harris is the
Ghost of Christmas Past and Eric Leviton is the Ghost of Christmas Present. Kitty Hilsabeck is the Ghost of Christmas Future and also the choreographer for the show. Kristin Klipka plays Grace Smythe.

David Nehls is the music director; Brian Mallgrave is the scenic designer; and Sally Burke is the costume designer. Gail Gober is the lighting designer, and Steven Stevens is the sound designer.

A CHRISTMAS CAROL, THE MUSICAL, is the 1994 Broadway musical adaptation of the Charles Dickens novella, with music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Lynn Ahrens. Book by Mike Ockrent and Lynn Ahrens. The 2004 television
version of the musical starred Kelsey Grammer as Scrooge.
