Having flirted with death, Richard, a young man, has crash landed into a state mental hospital, where he sits silently in the day room. He has lost his sense of touch and his ability to focus his eyes and his attention. Through interaction with Carla, a fellow patient, and Louise, a young woman from his past, Richard tries to regain his memory and his life. The second reading will be at today, September 16th at 3pm. In the week's interim, the writer has been fiendishly and furiously making rewrites so that the second reading should be very different from the first.
