Single Carrot Theatre to Present KISS ME, MR. MUSK at The Baltimore Theatre Project in September


Single Carrot Theatre will present the opening show of FLOURISH with a devised production titled Kiss Me, Mr. Musk at The Baltimore Theatre Project opening August 19 and running through September 11.

GreenStage, Seattle's longest-operating Shakespeare company, celebrates its 25th season in 2013 with two of the Bard's favorites for the summer Shakespeare in the Park season, and a new Backyard Bard series of scaled-down productions for smaller parks and other venues. Our silver-anniversary season will be our most exciting and biggest yet, with nearly 60 performances in 22 different parks from July 12-Aug. 18. As always, GreenStage performances will be absolutely free of charge. Go see a play!

Laugh away the winter blues with P.G. Wodehouse's classic characters in Jeeves in Bloom, opening at Taproot Theatre tonight, February 1. Peace. Tranquility. The English countryside. Then Bertie Wooster pays a visit. While ducking romance, fleeing a cleaver-wielding chef and burgling his uncle, Bertie's trail of mischief and mayhem is set right by his unflappable valet, Jeeves. Based on characters created by author P.G. Wodehouse, this confectionary treat is a delightful respite from the daily grind. Associate Artistic Director Karen Lund directs Margaret Raether's adaptation of P.G. Wodehouse's stories. Jeeves in Bloom opens tonight, February 1 and runs through March 2, 2013. He's back! Taproot Theatre welcomes Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Christmas Carol back to its stage, after a sold out run in 2010. Seattle playwright and author, John Longenbaugh's clever mash-up of two classics is a moving mystery worthy of becoming a new family holiday tradition. Directed by Producing Artistic Director Scott Nolte, Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Christmas Carol opens on November 23 and runs through December 29 with a pay-what-you-can performance tomorrow night, November 21. Written in 1664 by French playwright, Molière, this satire of religious quackery was censored by King Louis XIV and the French Roman Catholic Church. In this rollicking comedy, Tartuffe, is a haughty, self-righteous phony that inveigles his way into Orgon's wealthy household.
