Cultural Council to Display Five Exhibitions in Season Kickoff


To usher in the 2015-2016 season, the Cultural Council of Palm Beach County will exhibit an unprecedented five shows simultaneously displaying the work of Palm Beach County artists beginning November 13.

Modern Art Etc. is proud to present the contemporary artwork of Laura Kim, a Harvard law and Chicago University graduate / visual artist. Laura's 'Sunrise' and 'Diamond Mountains' are inspired by photography and paintings of ancient Korean mountains. Her signature stylized language of lines and dots create the form of mountainscapes and are symbolic of musical notes and inspired by musical compositions. A completely individualistic new artistic language in visual art, both laborious and painstaking, the finished palette suggests a rainbow and is inspired by the hues of French Impressionism. Laura's digital painting, 'City of Angel's / Violet Horizon,' will be premiering at Photo LA and blends the visual language of photography and painting.

Arizona Theatre Company's 'Voice and Vision' Featured During 'First Friday', 4/2


Arizona Theatre Company will participate in April's 'First Friday' via its AMERICA PLAYS! centerpiece event, Voice and Vision: A Graffiti Art/Spoken Word Explosion, this Friday, April 2 at 7 PM on the plaza of the Herberger Theater Center. This event is free and open to the public.
