Rubicon Theatre Company of Ventura begins the new year with the West Coast Premiere of NEVER NOT ONCE, a powerful, compelling and timely new drama by CAREY CRIM. The production premiered earlier this season at JEFF DANIELS' Purple Rose Theatre. NEVER NOT ONCE previews February 5-7 and opens February 8 at Rubicon's home, 1006 E. Main Street in Ventura's Downtown Cultural District, continuing Wednesdays through Sundays through February 23. A thought-provoking response to the #MeToo movement, NEVER NOT ONCE is about the families we choose, and the secrets that can pull them apart. Mirrorcore Productions first feature film Wake. will enjoy its world premiere Saturday, October 13th, 2018 at the acclaimed Heartland International Film Festival in Indianapolis, Indiana. The film will be screened several times during the festival run from October 11th-21st, 2018.

After a long- run as Director of Chicago's hit theatre production, TONY N' TINA'S WEDDING, Paul Stroili, will be temporarily swapping his artistic hat to take on the roles of Co-Executive Producer and Actor in the upcoming independent film feature,Wake. This independent film will begin production this year and starts principal photography later this month.

On August 30th, Oscar Winning producers Craig Zadan And Neil Meron hosted a truly 'All-Star' cast reception for Lifetime Network's hit series DROP DEAD DIVA. Zadan and Meron are executive producers of the show which was recently picked up for a second season.
