STARZ announced several new guest stars will join the growing list of high-profile musicians and celebrities attached to “BMF” season three, including Grammy Award winner Dominique “Lil Baby” Jones (It’s Only Me, 2022) musician and actress Saweetie (“Bel-Air,” “Grown-ish”) and Cynthia Bailey (“Real Housewives of Atlanta”).

L.A. Theatre Works, the world's leading producer of audio theater, has chosen six titles by Black playwrights from its extensive collection of work to stream free on its website.

The LA Film Festival, produced by Film Independent, announced the winners of the 2018 Festival at the Awards Reception at the W Hotel in Hollywood presided over by Festival Director Jennifer Cochis and Film Independent President Josh Welsh. The world premiere of Ngozi Anyanwu's new play 'Good Grief' opened at Center Theatre Group's Kirk Douglas Theatre on Sunday, March 5 at 6:30 p.m. Directed by Patricia McGregor, Anyanwu also performs in 'Good Grief,' which runs through March 26, 2017. Goodman Theatre, in collaboration with Chicago's various off-Loop theaters and Northwestern University, unveils partial programming in its spring 2015 citywide "August Wilson Celebration" -- an extensive retrospective of the late playwright's life, artistry and influence on American culture. The seven-week Celebration takes place in March and April 2015 on dual landmark occasions: the 70th anniversary of the Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright's birth and the 10th anniversary of his death.
