The Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) and Neal Street Productions, in association with Hera Pictures, have announced casting for the world-premiere of Maggie O’Farrell’s Hamnet adapted by Lolita Chakrabarti and directed by RSC Acting Artistic Director Erica Whyman.

Dallas-based Starlight Entertainment President and Producer Michael Jenkins is pleased to announce 911 Gnomes: A Christmas Emergency has been chosen by Rave Theater Festival in New York as one of 20 diverse new shows to feature in their inaugural festival in New York City this August. The Festival focuses on diversity with an emphasis on quality of writing and creativity. 911 Gnomes: A Christmas Emergency is the only show from Texas represented. The play was written by Shellie O'Neal, directed by Crystal Griffith, and cast with local talent including 8 children from North Texas. The show will be presented at the Clemente Center, Theatre LaTea August 14-18, 2019

PARADE is a rarely produced musical by THE LAST FIVE YEARS composer Jason Robert Brown, Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Alfred Urhy, and co-conceived by Hal Prince. Winner of the 1999 Tony Awards for Best Book and Best Original Score, it depicts the true story of Mary Phagan - a 13-year-old factory worker murdered in Atlanta during a Confederate Memorial Day Parade in 1913 - and the trial, wrongful conviction, and murder of her Jewish boss, Leo Frank.
