Bonnie & Clyde - 2011 - Broadway Tickets, News, Info & More

Two small-town kids from the middle of nowhere became the biggest folk heroes in all America. They craved adventure—and each other. Their names were Bonnie and Clyde.

LAURA OSNES (Grease, Anything Goes) and JEREMY JORDAN (Newsies, West Side Story) star as the 20th century’s most infamous duo, as the daring story of love and crime that captured the imagination of a country takes aim at a whole new generation.

Featuring music by Tony® nominee Frank Wildhorn (Jekyll & Hyde), lyrics by Tony® and Oscar® winner Don Black (Sunset Boulevard), a book by Emmy® Award nominee Ivan Menchell and direction by Tony® nominee Jeff Calhoun (Newsies) this sexy new musical has claimed the Schoenfeld Theatre as its hideout. And after stealing hearts—and rave reviews—from the La Jolla Playhouse to the Asolo Rep, there may just be no stopping BONNIE & CLYDE.

Featured Reviews For Bonnie & Clyde

Review: Bonnie & Clyde - Time Out NY
Skillfully directed by Jeff Calhoun, Bonnie & Clyde doesn’t glamorize its subjects, as Arthur Penn’s 1967 film was accused of doing, but it does sentimentalize them; they are introduced to us as children, dreaming of fame, and never grow far beyond that. No matter how many innocent people they kill, this musical’s Bonnie and Clyde remain—like the show itself—not great, but not that bad.

'Bonnie & Clyde' - NY Daily News
In short order, this musical vehicle steers straight to the middle of the road.

A long-standing opening night tradition on the Great White Way, the fabled Gypsy Robe is bestowed upon a veteran Broadway chorus member for each opening production. In what has now become a theatrical ritual, originating on Broadway 60 years ago, the latest receipient was SBONNIE & CLYDE cast member Tad Wilson at the Schoenberg Theatre in New York City. BroadwayWorld was there as FOLLIES recipient Jennifer Foote presented BONNIE & CLYDE's Tad Wilson with the Gypsy robe. Check out full photo coverage of the celebration below!
