BroadwayWorld has your first look at I WISH YOU A BOAT at Ward Theatre Company!

In 1899 a ship carrying passengers from Southampton to Guernsey hit the Casquets and sank in 8 minutes. While some of the 190 passengers survived many men, women and children perished at sea.

I Wish You A Boat is based on their story and pays homage to our own ancestors who made the perilous journey across the Atlantic to come to the land of the free. Deeply moving and strangely uplifting, I Wish You A Boat is a tender retelling of a horrific tale.
