Review: THE XIXTH (THE NINETEENTH) at The Old Globe Goes For the Gold


The Old Globe Theatre is going for the gold with their World Premier  THE XIXTH (The 19th).  The show is funny, and thought-provoking, and shows that sadly, the issues of protesting systematic racism and looking for freedom and equality are still as relevant now as it was then.  THE XIXTH is playing at  The  Old Globe through April 23rd.

Starz Greenlights POWER BOOK II: GHOST Season Four As Michael Early Joins Cast


Production has just begun in New York, with Michael Ealy (Barbershop, Takers) joining the cast as a new series regular for season four. Ealy joins the cast as Detective Don Carter, a rising NYPD officer who was on track to become Police Commissioner, until his wife was killed in a crossfire between rival drug gangs.

Anton Chekhov's Three Sisters, co-adapted by Shawn Rene Graham and John-Martin Green is transposed to America in the early 1900s.  Set on a cavalry outpost in rural Texas, this is the tale of a group of cultured, intelligent blacks in turn-of-the-century America observing the kind of entitlement that wealthy whites had always taken for granted, and the price they pay for that entitlement. The reading is on Monday, March 7, 2016 from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM.
