President and Founder of The Hollywood Museum, Donelle Dadigan, hosted a very special Lobby Exhibit unveiling, featuring items and from the career of Tippi Hedren (including items worn in the film 'The Birds,' Edith Head's dress form designed to Tippi's exact measurements, her Golden Globe and a personal gift presented by Alfred Hitchcock when he and his wife, Alma, informed her that she had been chosen to portray Melanie Daniels in 'The Birds).

Hell in a Handbag Productions will remount of one of its most popular shows ever at The Coach House at Berger Park, 6205 N. Sheridan Rd. (Sheridan and Granville). Originally produced under Sweetback Productions, The Birds is not just a ridiculous parody of the classic Hitchcock film, but a look inside the mind of newcomer Tippi Hedren guided by author and American social critic Camille Paglia with a touch of David Lynch thrown in for good measure. Arguably the most recognizable of Alfred Hitchcock's famous blondes, Tippi Hedren, has had an active and enviable career for more than 60 years. On Jan 19th, 2010 the screen icon celebrated her 80th birthday with both public and private gatherings. Her daughter and son-in-law (Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas) threw an intimate gathering at their home for family and friends, while fans and colleagues gathered in the Palace of Mystery Theatre at the world famous Magic Castle for a Q&A as part of the very popular Legend Series with host B. Harlan Boll. The program unveiled details about the actress pertaining to her childhood, career and activism that many in the audience were surprised to hear.
