What did our critic think of DRACULA at Elmwood Playhouse?Set in England in 1914, the overall look of the show is nicely evoked by Set Designer, Rob Ward; Seward’s office in the Sanatorium, Lucy’s Bedroom and Dracula’s lair are all effective and opulent. Janet Fenton’s costumes capture the period, and are a wonder to behold. The entire crew, led by stage managers Nancy Logan and Kathy Simpson, excels in propelling the story with their technical precision. @elmwoodplayhous

Elmwood Playhouse of Nyack, NY will be presenting Dracula, written by By Hamilton Deane and John L. Balderston and directed by Michael Edan. 

The Players' Guild of Leonia presents: ALL MY SONS by Arthur Miller, directed by Carol Fisher-Gertner. A towering, memorable work as timely as the day it was written. Betrayal and greed are the core of this Tony award-winning drama as a family, post World War II, must deal with the loss of a son.

Bergen County Players (BCP) presents Sordid Lives, a black comedy about white trash by playwright Del Shores. Winner of 14 Drama Logue awards, including Best Production, Sordid Lives is a comedic twist on a story of unconditional love, acceptance and coming out in a Texas family as they all arrive for the matriarch's funeral.

Del Shores' SORDID LIVES is a modern day comedy filled with hilarious slapstick humor and heart-warming moments. It tells a convoluted tale of a wacky Texas family who must learn to accept each other for who they are, even if it means sacrificing long held beliefs and values.

Bergen County Players (BCP) presents Glengarry Glen Ross, a hard-hitting portrait of cut-throat office politics and BCP's first foray into the world of David Mamet. Winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, Glengarry Glen Ross features sharp dialogue, compelling characters and strong social commentary. Under the direction of Alyson Cohn of Wyckoff, Glengarry Glen Ross will be performed at the Little Firehouse Theatre in Oradell from March 26th through April 16th, 2011 with shows at 8pm on Friday and Saturday and 2pm on Sunday.
