The Huntington Theatre Company announces that Director of Education Donna Glick is leaving the Huntington on June 30, 2017 after a distinguished 27-year career. 

American Repertory Theater Raises Record Amount at 2017 Gala


The Board of Trustees of the American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University along withDiane Paulus, A.R.T. Artistic Director, and Diane Quinn, A.R.T. Executive Director, are pleased to announce that the theater's annual gala raised nearly $1.3M in support of the theater's artistic, community, and education programs. The event was held at the Boch Center Wang Theatre on Monday, February 27, 2017 with nearly 500 supporters from Boston, Los Angeles, and New York in attendance.

Theatre Guild of Simsbury's THE DINING ROOM Begins Tonight


Theatre Guild of Simsbury presents the Drama Desk Award-nominee The Dining Room tonight, April 2, and April 8, 9 at 8 pm and April 3, 10, at 2 pm. Written by Pulitzer Prize for Drama nominee A.R Gurney (Love Letters, Sweet Sue) and directed by Rosemarie Beskind assisted by Rick Anderson, The Dining Room is made up of 18 scenes played out across time, telling the tale of several upper-middle class families, bound only by a matching set of dining room furniture. Each of the eighteen scenes, which range from the comic to the serious, show a slice of life in which the dynamic relationships of family life are explored.

Two hundred and fifty guests including former Boston Mayor Thomas M. Menino joined Huntington Theatre Company Chairman Carol G. Deane, President Mitchell J. Roberts, Managing Director Michael Maso, and Artistic Director Peter DuBois, as well as Boston Center for the Arts Chairman Philip W. Lovejoy and Executive Director Veronique Le Melle on Monday, September 29 for a ribbon-cutting, rededication, and celebration in honor of the 10th anniversary of the Stanford Calderwood Pavilion at the Boston Center for the Arts.
