Max Kasler BIO
Max is a composer currently based in New Jersey and Pennsylvania while he studies at Muhlenberg College. He co-writes with his creative partner, Gwen Wilkie. Together, Kasler and Wilkie are currently working on their new song cycle entitled Woven Stories. Only working together since January 2017, Kasler and Wilkie have premiered their music in both New York City (NYMF - SLP) and Los Angeles (A LITTLE NEW MUSIC).

The New York Musical Festival (NYMF) has announced the performer lineup for the 2019 Songwriting Workshop public masterclass, led by NYMF Honorary Chair Joe Iconis and Ben Bonnema, and Head and Heart, a presentation from NYMF's Student Leadership Project.
A LITTLE NEW MUSIC Returns to the Wallis
After a sold-out Wallis debut in July, A Little New Music will spotlight another lineup of emerging musical theatre talents for The Sorting Room's 2018 Winter Session at The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on Thursday, December 20 at 7:00 p.m. A Little New Music's audiences will enjoy original musical theatre songs firsthand before they hit Broadway or the regional circuit.

We are called millennials, generation Y, generation me, the internet generation, and much more. Whether we are ready or not, young people are carving the pathway for the future. Our song cycle, Breaking Ground, focuses on the unique issues facing our generation such as social media, hook up culture, college debt, job scarcity, and gun violence on campuses, to name a few. Through a wide variety of genres and styles, Breaking Ground explores how the millennial generation engages and tries to fit in this ever-changing, modern world.
