EPIC Players, NYC’s premiere neurodivergent theater company,  has announced their neuro-diverse production of Shakespeare’s ROMEO AND JULIET, directed by Max Baudisch. Learn more about the show here!

Since its founding days six years ago, the non-profit theatre company EPIC Players has been opening doors for performers with developmental disabilities.

EPIC Players, which stands for empower, perform, include and create, is pleased to announce their 2020 season. The diverse mix of productions will continue to showcase and challenge their neuro-diverse company members and support their mission of using performing arts as a vehicle to empower artists with developmental disabilities, and pioneer increased inclusion within the mainstream arts scene.

The third production of EPIC Players Inclusion Company's 2017-18 season is the neuro-inclusive adaptation of William Shakespeare's The Tempest. The play will run for 8 performances between May 31st and June 10th at The Flea Theater, The Siggy (named after founder Sigourney Weaver), where EPIC is proud to be Anchor Partners.

EPIC Players Inclusion Company is pleased to announce their Spring Cabaret Benefit, EPIC4AUTISM: Songs from the Spectrum, will take place on Autism Awareness Day on April 2 at the HBO Theatre in Midtown. A pre-show cocktail hour with hors d'oeuvres starts at 6:00 pm with the cabaret show starting at 7:00 pm. The evening is being generously sponsored in part by HBO's Corporate Social Responsibility Division. Proceeds will go towards funding EPIC Players upcoming season including their next production, William Shakespeare's The Tempest.

The Most Miserable Christmas Tree, a new fun-filled family holiday musical, is getting its World Premiere this December at Bay Ridge's Narrows Community Theater, celebrating its 45th Anniversary Season. With book and lyrics by Tim Sulka and Debra Barsha (Radiant Baby), music by Barsha, orchestrations by Lena Gabrielle, music direction by Paolo C. Perez and direction and choreography by Michael Chase Gosselin, The Most Miserable Christmas Tree is being presented at The Fort Hamilton Army Base Theater (403 GenerAl Lee Avenue), now through December 18th, 2016. There rarely comes a musical that everyone truly can have nothing bad to say about - one that is saturated with a myriad of different emotions conveyed one minute through upbeat, somewhat goofy songs and the next in a somber ballad between two characters in the midst of falling in love. Especially when it is as beautifully performed by Brooklyn's own Narrows Community Theater, The Wedding Singer is truly so intricate and beautiful in its design, but is so simply a feel-good phenomenon that all should experience.
