Matt Pratt

Matt Pratt is originally from Devils Lake, MI, 30 minutes south of Jackson College where he was introduced to acting by the theatre department head Gary Righettini, who strongly encouraged Matt to continue to pursue acting. After graduating, Matt moved to Chicago in 2010 to further study the craft. He graduated from Columbia College Chicago in 2012.

Matt can be seen August 28th through September 28th at the Greenhouse Theatre in American Blues Theater’s production of The Rainmaker. Matt was recently seen in Bent with The Other Theatre Company at Strawdog Theatre. In the past Matt has worked with Lookingglass Theatre, Fox Valley Repertory, Northlight Theatre, Teatro Vista, Spartan Theatre, Bailiwick Chicago, Citadel Theatre, Pride Films & Plays, and Michigan Shakespeare Festival. Matt plays concurrently with readings and workshops around the Chicago theatre scene . Matt recently guest-starred on Chicago PD as Owen Reese in the episode “Disco Bob.” Upcoming and recent film credits include Performances by Christophe Deshoux (France) (International release), The Evolution of a Gen-X Music Purchaser (2015 Tribeca Film Festical, London Film Festival, Scruffy City Film and Music Festival, New York Shorts Fest), Cold Pizza, Forever, Hypothetical, The Dog (Mamet Adaptation), Girls Blood, and Driftwood
