BIO
MATT PASCUA first discovered his passion for acting while training at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre in New York.
From there, he began performing in staged readings, in new works off- and off-off-Broadway, and in regional productions, including Matthew Spangler's adaptation of Khaled Hosseini's acclaimed novel The Kite Runner. He also found opportunities in viral videos, primarily with CollegeHumor, as well as work in commercial and voiceover spots for MTV, VH1, and McDonald's and in print campaigns for Puma and the Meth Project.
Today, his resume features primetime credits on ABC, CBS, the CW, and FOX. He is an alum of the ABC Discovers Talent Showcase, which takes pride in Lupita Nyong’o, Pedro Pascal, and the late Chadwick Boseman, among many others, as some of its previously selected artists.
His independent film work has seen nationwide theatrical release and the film festival circuit, most notably at the Cannes Film Festival (Anthony Meindl’s Where We Go From Here) and the Toronto International Film Festival (Jean-Marc Vallée’s Wild, which also received two Academy Award nominations). Projects of his currently can be streamed on Amazon Prime, Hulu, Max, and Netflix.
Matt is a grateful member of Actors’ Equity and SAG-AFTRA.
